BAKED NOODLES 
10 oz. noodles (fettuccine works best)
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 c. milk, scalded
2 eggs, separated (beat whites stiff)
1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Boil noodles until tender, drain. Mix lemon juice, flour, salt and pepper. Add scalded milk, bring to boil, stirring until thickened. Pour gradually while hot into beaten egg yolks. Combine with cooked noodles. Fold into stiffly beaten egg yolks. Pour into buttered baking dish, top with buttered bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly brown. Serves 4.
