PARTY APPETIZER PIE | |
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 (2 1/2 oz.) jar dried beef, finely chopped (or substitute 5 slices bacon, cooked crisp) 2 tbsp. finely chopped green pepper 1/2 c. sour cream 2 tbsp. milk 2 tbsp. instant onion 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/4 c. chopped nuts Blend cream cheese and milk in a 1 quart mixing bowl. Add dried beef, onion, and green pepper. Mix well. Stir in sour cream. Spread evenly in 8 inch pie plate. Cover with waxed paper. Cook 2 minutes. 15 seconds on high or until mixture is hot. Let stand 2 minutes to firm slightly. Sprinkle with nuts; garnish with parsley. Serve with assorted crackers. |
