CHEESY SQUARES 
16 oz. loaf frozen whole wheat or white bread, thawed
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. paprika
2 c. (8 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese

On lightly floured surface, roll thawed bread into a 13 x 9 inch rectangle. Place in a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Cover, let rise in warm place about 1 1/2 hours. In sauce pan, cook onion in butter until tender. Stir in seasonings. Cool slightly, then stir in cheese. Spoon mixture evenly over dough. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Cut into small squares and serve warm.
