1 egg, beaten with 3/4 cup sugar
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped (or shredded) apples with peel on
Pinch of salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. nuts

Mix together egg mixture, salt, flour, baking powder and vanilla. Fork in apples and add nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes in a greased pie pan. NOTE: this is a quickie and delicious dessert. Serve warm or cold with whipped topping.
