PETTICOAT TAILS 
2 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 sticks (1 c.) butter

Sift flour and sugar together several times. Cut in butter and knead with hands. Shape dough into rolls, wrap in wax paper and chill overnight. When ready to bake, heat oven to 350 degrees. Slice dough into 1/4 inch cookies. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet about 15 to 20 minutes or until light and golden color.
