REFRIGERATOR PICKLES 
6-8 cucumbers
1 med. onion
2 tsp. dill seed
2 cloves garlic
2 c. vinegar
1 3/4 c. sugar
1/8 c. pickling salt
1 c. water

Wash and slice unpeeled cucumbers. Pack in two 1-quart jars with onion slices, dill seed and garlic. Boil vinegar, sugar, pickling salt, and water. Pour boiled ingredients over the above. Cover tightly, cool and store in refrigerator. Makes 2 quarts.
