1/2 c. egg custard pie mix
1/4 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chocolate chips

Mix pie mix and sugar together in saucepan. Beat egg yolks, milk, and vanilla together and add to dry mixture. Cook, stirring constantly over medium heat until mixture thickens and starts to boil. Remove from heat and add butter. Add chocolate chips; stir through mixture only enough to make swirls. Pour into baked cooled pie crust. Top with meringue and brown in oven.
