TURTLE CAKE 
1 box chocolate cake mix with pudding
1 lb. or 14 oz. pkg. Kraft caramels
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
1 stick butter
6 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. pecan pieces

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Unwrap caramels. Mix cake by box directions. Pour half of the cake batter in a greased and floured 9x13 inch cake pan (10x14 inch is better if you have one). Bake 15 minutes.

Melt caramels and butter in top of a double boiler, gradually add milk to melted caramels and butter. Pour caramel mixture over cake. Pour remaining batter over caramel and sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on top. Return to oven and bake 25 to 30 minutes.
