SMOOTH AND CREAMY FROSTING 
1 pkg. (4 oz. serving size) instant pudding, any flavor
1/4 c. confectioners' sugar
1 c. cold milk
3 1/2 c. (8 oz.) whipped topping

Combine pudding mix, sugar and milk in a small bowl. Beat slowly with rotary beater or at lowest speed on electric mixer until well blended, about 1 minute. Fold in whipped topping. Spread on cake at once. Store frosted cake in refrigerator.
