2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Picante sauce (mild or hot)

Place both packages of cream cheese in medium size mixing bowl. (NOTE: Cream cheese may be softened easily by placing in microwave oven at full power for 15- 20 seconds). Add 8 ounces jar of Picante sauce to cream cheese, and mix well. May use wire whisk or fork to mix. Do not mix in blender as this causes mixture to be too spicy or "hot". Chill for 2 hours. Serve with tortilla chips or snack crackers.
