HAMBURGER PIE 
1 lb. lean ground beef
Potato buds (enough for 8 servings)
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. catsup
1 c. milk
1/2 c. (2 oz.) Cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 c. onion, chopped

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix meat, 1 1/3 cups of potato buds (dry), egg, salt, pepper, onion, catsup and milk. Spread in ungreased pizza pan (9 x 1 1/2 inches). Bake uncovered 35 to 40 minutes.

Prepare remaining potato buds as directed on package for 4 servings. Top baked meat loaf with mashed potatoes, sprinkle with cheese. Bake 3 or 4 minutes longer.
