DILLED GREEN BEANS 
Green beans
8 c. water
1/2 c. salt not iodized
2 c. cider vinegar, 5% acidity
1 or 2 cloves garlic each jar
Red chili pepper each jar or ground red sprigs of dill

Combine ingredients and bring to boil. Beans should be fresh crisp. Pack cleaned beans in quart, open mouth jars with dill in bottom of jar. Pour hot liquid over beans. Seal by processing in water bath for 7-10 minutes.
