PIROSHKI (MEAT FILLED PASTRIES) 
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 lb. butter
6 tbsp. ice water

Mix together as for pie pastry. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Roll out the dough and cut into circles large enough to hold 1 teaspoon of filling.

FILLING:

2 lg. onions, minced
2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. ground meat
2 hard cooked eggs
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. dill weed, minced
1/4 lb. sliced mushrooms
