PINEAPPLE PECAN SALAD 
1/2 c. pecan halves
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 head lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
1/4 bunch romaine, torn into bite size pieces
2 med. stalks celery, chopped
2 green onions, chopped
1 can pineapple chunks, drained

Sweet sour dressing recipe to follow. Cook pecans and sugar over low heat, stirring constantly until sugar is melted and nuts are coated. Cool and break apart. Store at room temperature.

Toss lettuce, romaine, celery, onions and pineapple. When ready to serve, at nuts and dressing.

SWEET SOUR DRESSING:

1/4 c. vegetable oil
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. parsley
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
Dash of red pepper sauce

Shake all ingredients in tightly covered jar. Refrigerate.
