ORANGE POUND CAKE 
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 cup shortening (Crisco)
3 1/2 cups sugar
4 cups all-purpose flour
10 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
5 tbsp. orange juice

Cream butter and shortening together. Add sugar, 1/2 cup at a time. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each addition. Add vanilla. Add flour alternately with orange juice, beginning with flour and ending with flour. Pour into a 10-inch tube greased and floured cake pan.

Bake at 300°F for about 1 1/2 hours.
