8 oz. cream cheese 1 c. butter 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 4 eggs 3 c. flour 1 (8 oz.) bottle maraschino cherries 1 c. pecans 1/2 c. flour 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar 2 tbsp. milk 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder Thoroughly blend first 5 ingredients, adding eggs, one at a time. Gradually add 2 1/2 cups of sifted flour and 1 1/2 cups of sifted flour and 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. Finely chop maraschino cherries and pecans. Add 1/2 cup flour and fold fruit and nuts into batter. Pour batter into greased bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Glaze with a mixture of 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons milk. |
