CHRISTMAS RUM CAKE 
1. Sample rum; check for quality.

2. Select large mixing bowl, measuring cup, etc.

3. Again check rum for quality.

4. With electric beater, beat 1 cup butter in a large fluffy bowl.

5. Add 1 teaspoon sugar and beat again.

6. Check rum for any deterioration.

7. Add 2 large eggs, 2 cups of baking powder, add a pinch of rum, 1 teaspoon baking soda and 1 cup of pepper or maybe salt. Anyway don't fret. Just test the rum again.

8. Zowie. Next sift in half a pint of lemon juice; fold in chopped buttermilk and strained nuts. Check rum.

9. Add 1 babblespoon suron tugar or whatever color is around.

10. Mix well; grease oven and turn on cake pan to 350 degrees. Now pour the whole mixture into the oven and OOOPS.

11. On second thought and 3rd and 4th check rest of rum and go to bed.
