1 c. butter
1/2 to 3/4 c. peanut butter
2 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
1 (12 oz.) pkg. peanut butter chips

Cream butter and peanut butter with both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until fluffy. Then add flour and soda; mix well. Add chips and, if desired, chopped nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 11 to 12 minutes or until light brown. Makes 8 to 10 dozen cookies. (This recipe has already been doubled.)
