LIVER NIPS 
2 lb. stew beef
6 c. beef stock
2 tomatoes
1 c. liver, chopped
1 c. suet, chopped
1 egg
1 med. onion
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. sage
1 c. milk
Flour

Cook stew beef. Remove stew beef and set aside. In 6 cups of beef stock, add 2 chopped tomatoes and cook for 15 minutes. Mix all other ingredients and add enough flour to make a medium stiff batter. Drop batter by teaspoons into boiling broth. Let broil about 30 minutes. When nips are done, add stew beef and serve.
