YELLOW SQUASH ICE BOX PICKLES 
2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped bell pepper
7 c. sliced yellow squash

Put in large jar the sliced squash, onion, and bell pepper. Mix the vinegar, sugar, salt and celery seed. Stir until dissolved. Pour over squash mixture, keep in refrigerator. Keeps for months.
