PECAN PIE (Light) | |
1 c. white corn syrup 1/3 tsp. salt 1/3 c. melted butter 1 heaping c. shelled whole pecans 1 c. dark brown sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 3 eggs, slightly beaten Combine syrup, sugar, salt, butter and vanilla; mix well. Add eggs; pour into 9 inch unbaked pie shell. Top with pecans. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. (For dark pecan pie, omit syrup and vanilla, replace brown sugar with 2/3 cup white sugar, add 1 cup dark Karo and continue as directed.) |
