MOLASSES COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. vegetable shortening
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. green label Brer Rabbit dark molasses
2 eggs
4 c. flour
4 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. salt

Cream sugar and shortening, add molasses and eggs. Beat well. Sift dry ingredients together and stir into first mixture. It is a stiff dough. Cover and chill overnight. Form into 1" balls and roll in granulated sugar. Bake on greased cookie sheet 9 minutes at 375 degrees.
