CRANBERRY DESSERT 
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. raw cranberries, quartered
1 1/2 tsp. butter
1/4 c. water
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix together and put in a 9"x9" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.

SAUCE:

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. Carnation milk

Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Serve hot. Whipped cream, if desired.
