PICKNICK CAKE WITH TOPPING 
2 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. water
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. flour

Put raisins in water and baking soda. Bring to a boil, let it cool. Cover with lid.

In a bowl, put shortening, sugar, and eggs. Mix with wooden spoon or mixer. Add rest of ingredients. Put in pan.

TOPPING:

1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chocolate chips

Mix all together and sprinkle on top of cake mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
