JENNIFER'S FAVORITE FLANK STEAK 
1/4 c. soy sauce
3 tbsp. honey
3 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 green onion, finely chopped
3/4 c. salad oil
1 flank steak (approx. 1 1/2 lbs.), scored

Mix together soy sauce, honey and vinegar. Stir in ginger. Blend in garlic, chopped green onion and oil. Place meat in an oblong glass dish and pour marinade over. Refrigerate, covered, 4 hours or overnight, turning meat occasionally.

Grill over hot coals or broil in oven until cooked to your liking, basting with marinade if desired. Let stand a few minutes and then cut very thin slices diagonally across the grain. Serves 4.
