GRANDMA'S HUNGARIAN OATMEAL CAKE | |
1 1/4 c. boiling water 1 c. quick dry oats 1 stick butter 1 c. white sugar 1 c. brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. baking soda 1 1/2 c. flour Combine boiling water, oats, and butter; let stand 15 minutes. Add sugars and mix well. Then add rest of ingredients. Put in greased and floured 9 x 13 pan; bake 30-35 minutes at 350 degrees. Use Grandma's Hungarian Pecan Frosting. Yum! |
