DANISH SHORTBREAD | |
1/2 c. butter (1/2 lb.) 3/4 c. brown sugar 1 egg 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/8 tsp. salt 3/4 c. chopped nuts 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 1/2 - 2 c. flour Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and beat well. Add vanilla. Sift flour and baking powder together and add to mixture. Add nuts last. Form balls, size of walnut, using flour if necessary. Place on cookie sheet and bake 8 to 10 minutes at 300 degrees. |
