BANANA SPLIT SPECIAL 
1ST LAYER:

2 c. graham cracker crumbs
5 tbsp. butter, melted

Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Pat into a 9x13-inch pan to make the crust.

2ND LAYER:

2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 c. (2 sticks) butter
2 eggs

Place in bowl and whip for no less than 17 minutes. Spread on first layer.

3RD LAYER:

4 bananas
1 can crushed pineapple, drained

Split bananas and place along with pineapple on second layer.

4TH LAYER:

2 sm. boxes strawberries, thawed & drained
8 oz. Cool Whip

Fresh, sliced strawberries may be used. Place over third layer. Top with Cool Whip, sprinkle with crushed nuts and chopped maraschino cherries. Chill 24 hours.
