JANNETTE'S CHICKEN DUMPLINGS | |
1 hen or chicken (I prefer hen) 2 bouillon cubes Salt and black pepper 2 dashes red pepper 3 c. self-rising flour Boiling water Cook chicken in salted water, black pepper, red pepper, and bouillon cubes until tender. Work boiling water to flour to make stiff dough. Place on floured waxed paper and roll out very thin. Cut into strips and drop into boiling chicken broth. Stir mixture as you drop strips into boiling chicken. Cook for 15-20 minutes. Drop chicken pieces into broth after removed from bones. |
