ITALIAN GREEN BEANS 
3 tbsp. olive oil
1 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (29 oz.) can tomatoes
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf
2 lbs. or 2 pkgs. frozen green beans

Heat oil in pan, saute onion and garlic for five minutes. Add tomatoes, salt, pepper, oregano and bay leaf. Bring to a boil. Cook over low heat for 30 minutes. Add beans and cook on low heat for 45 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
