HERB BAKED FISH 
2 lb. fish (cod, haddock, salmon, sword fish, halibut)
2 cloves garlic
1/2 c. minced onion
1/4 tsp. tarragon
A little chopped parsley
1/4 tsp. thyme
Dash nutmeg
Dash mace
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. lemon juice
3/4 c. fine fresh bread crumbs

Arrange fish in a shallow oven proof dish. Melt butter. Add sliced garlic and cook until tender (do not brown). Remove garlic. Add onions and saute a few minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients except crumbs. Then add bread crumbs; mix well. Spoon over fish. Bake in 400 degree oven for 20 minutes or until fish flakes. Serves 4-6.
