MARY FREELEY'S MARINADE 
1/2 env. Lipton onion soup
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. catsup
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. salad oil
1/2 c. water
Dash of Tabasco or to taste

Combine soup, sugar, catsup, vinegar and salad oil and mustard; add water. Bring to boil. simmer 20 minutes. Cool overnight or 6-7 hours. I use it for shish kabobs.
