BAKED CUSTARD 
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
Nutmeg

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In medium bowl, combine first 5 ingredients; blend well. Pour into custard cups (about 6). Sprinkle with nutmeg. Set in baking pan with about 1 inch hot water. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Serve warm or chilled. Makes 6 servings.

Tip: If desired, combine ingredients in 1 to 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes.
