SWISS STEAK 
2 lb. ground beef
4 potatoes, chop in 3/4 inch cubes
3 carrots, cut in 1/4 inch slices

SAUCE:

4 c. water
1 sm. can tomato paste
3 tbsp. sweet pepper, chop
1/4 tsp. black pepper

Form ground beef into patties, broil until done. Set aside.

Combine all sauce ingredients, pour over cooked beef patties and cook over medium heat until vegetables are done. Then turn heat up and cook until thick and mushy like gravy. Serve with cream potatoes and a crisp green salad. Serves 6.
