SAUSAGE & POTATOES | |
1 lb. smoked sausage, cut into 1" pieces 1 lg. onion 1 tsp. vegetable oil 1 pkg. instant au gratin potatoes 2 1/2 c. hot water 4 med. carrots, cut in 2" pieces 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli, chopped, drain & thawed 1 c. cheddar cheese Cook and stir sausage pieces and onion in oil about 5 minutes. Stir in potatoes, sauce mix and water. Heat to boiling, reduce heat, cover and simmer 10 minutes. Stir carrots, cover and simmer until carrots are crisp-tender, about 10 minutes. Stir in broccoli and cheese. Cover and cook until broccoli is tender and cheese is melted, about 5 to 10 minutes. |
