HOT CHICKEN SANDWICHES | |
6 or 8 green onions 1/4 lb. butter 3 cans cream of mushroom soup 1 1/2 c. milk 4 c. cooked chicken 1 lg. sandwich bread 1 lb. cheese, chopped 5 tomatoes, sliced 1 pkg. Italian type cheese Chop onions, tops and all, saute in butter. Add soup and milk, heat. Add chicken and mix. Toast bread and lay slices in a shallow pan. Top each slice of bread with slice of cheese, then large spoonful of chicken. Cover, toast completely. Cover each portion with a slice of tomato and grated cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. |
