CARAMEL BARS 
1 (12 oz.) pkg. caramels
3/4 c. whipping cream
2 c. flour
2 c. oatmeal
1 c. butter
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. whipping cream

Melt together the caramels and 3/4 cup whipping cream. Mix together rest of ingredients. Save 1 1/2 or more cups of oatmeal mixture and press remainder in a 9x13 inch greased pan. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Pour caramel mixture over first layer. Sprinkle remainder of oatmeal mixture on top and bake 25 minutes at 200 degrees.
