EXTRA CREAMY CHEESECAKE 
1 lb. cream cheese
2/3 c. sugar
Dash salt
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 c. dairy sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Toasted slivered almonds, optional

Beat cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in 2/3 cup sugar and a dash of salt. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Beat until smooth. Add almond flavoring and pour into buttered 9 inch pie pan. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) 25 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool away from drafts 20 minutes. While cake is cooling, beat together sour cream, 3 tablespoons sugar, a dash of salt and the vanilla. Pour over top of cake. Return to oven and bake 10 minutes longer. Sprinkle with nuts, if desired. Cool.
