FILLED JUMBO DROPS 
COOKIE:

1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1/2 c. sour milk or buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

FILLING:

2 c. dates, cut up
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. water
1/2 c. nuts

Cream butter and sugar. Stir in milk, vanilla and dry ingredients together. Cook filling until thick, then add nuts. Makes 2 dozen. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Place on greased sheet. Place cookie batter on sheet. Put a scoop of filling in center of cookie dough. Then add a small amount of cookie dough on top of cookie filling.
