PORK CHOPS WITH MUSHROOMS 
6 pork chops, thick sliced
3 tbsp. oil
1 c. rice
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
1 env. onion soup mix
1 sm. green pepper

Brown chops, spread rice in bottom of baking dish, sprinkle onion soup mix over rice. Drain mushrooms (reserving liquid) put mushrooms and pepper over rice, add hot water to remaining mushroom liquid to make 3 cups. Place chops on top and pour liquid over chops, cover and cook 1 hour or until tender. Cook at 350 degrees.
