MARBLED BROWNIES 
2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
5 tbsp. butter, melted
1/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
About 23 oz. brownie mix

Prepare cream cheese mixture by beating together the softened cream cheese and butter. Add the eggs, flour, and vanilla. Beat until smooth and set aside.

Prepare brownie mix using cake-like directions. Spread half in greased 9x13 inch pan. Pour all cream cheese mixture over brownie batter. Spoon remaining brownie mixture in spots over top. Swirl the 2 mixtures a little with a knife. Bake at 350 degrees for 36 to 39 minutes. Cool and frost with chocolate icing.

CHOCOLATE ICING (CONFECTIONERS' FROSTING) :

2 c. confectioners' sugar
About 2 tbsp. hot, strong coffee
1 tsp. vanilla
2 heaping tbsp. cocoa

Combine confectioners' sugar, cocoa, and vanilla. Gradually add coffee until mixture has a good spreading consistency.
