AMADAMA BREAD 
1/2 c. corn meal
2 tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. molasses
2 tsp. salt
2 c. boiling water

Cool till warm and add 2 yeast cakes, crumbled in. Add 2 cups flour and beat till well blended. Then add more flour to make soft dough that can be handled (about 2 1/2 cups). Place in greased bowl and let rise till double in bulk, about 2 hours.

Cut down, shape into loaves, let rise till double. Bake at 350 degrees for about 35 to 45 minutes. Butter tops and turn out to cool.
