3/4 c. Crisco oil 3/4 c. white sugar 3/4 c. brown sugar 2 eggs, beaten 1/4 c. molasses 3 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cloves 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. ginger 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/8 c. water 1 c. raisins 1 c. nuts Cream Crisco and sugars. Add eggs, saving 1 tablespoons to brush on cookies. Add dry ingredients, alternately with liquids. Add nuts and raisins. Divide dough in thirds and spread in strips 3 inches wide on large greased cookie sheets. Brush with reserved egg. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Cool and cut into slices. Eat and Enjoy! |
