ORIENTAL NOODLE AND PASTA SALAD | |
5.5 oz. (1 1/2 c.) uncooked rotini (spiral macaroni) 1 1/2 c. Green Giant frozen Sugar Snap peas (from 16 oz. pkg.), thawed & drained 1/2 c. carrots, thinly sliced 3 thin red onion slices, quartered 1/3 c. oil 2 tbsp. sugar 1 (3 oz.) pkg. instant Oriental noodles with Oriental flavor packet 1 tbsp. sesame seed, toasted Cook rotini to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain. Rinse with cold water. In large bowl, combine rotini, sugar snap peas, carrots and onion. In small bowl, combine oil, sugar and Oriental flavor packet, blend well. Pour over pasta mixture, toss to coat. Cover; refrigerate 1 hour to blend flavors. Just before serving, break Oriental noodles into pieces. Add noodle pieces and sesame seed to salad; toss to combine. |
