BLACKBERRY JAM CAKE 
1 c. butter
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda dissolved in milk
1 c. blackberry seedless jam
1 tsp. cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg
1 pinch salt
1 c. pecans and 1 c. black walnuts
If desired use 1 c. raisins, 1 c. coconut
1 c. strawberry preserves

Cream the butter, sugar and add eggs. Sift flour, baking powder, spices and salt together. Add flour mixture and buttermilk. Mix well add jam, strawberry preserves and mix. Add pecans, walnuts and raisins. Bake 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.
