2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
6 eggs well beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. sour milk
4 1/2 c. flour
Nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice to taste
2 c. blackberry jam

Mix as listed and bake in layer or loaf. Makes 2 good size cakes.
