1 lb. butter
2 c. white powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
4 1/2 c. flour
12 oz. chocolate chips
12 oz. walnuts

Melt butter. Put sugar and vanilla in and stir while butter is melting. Mix flour and salt, then put the butter, sugar, and vanilla in with the flour and mix well. Add the nuts; mix good. Let cool for about 30 minutes and add chocolate chips. Mix well. Form into 1 inch cookies and place on cookie pan and bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 17 minutes. When you take them out of oven, sprinkle powdered sugar over the top of cookies. One batch makes around 64 cookies.
