COFFEECAKE FRUIT SQUARES 
1/2 lb. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 pt. dairy sour cream
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
3 1/3 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (21 oz.) can pie filling (blueberry, cherry or apple)

TOPPING:

1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Grease 9"x13" pan. Prepare Topping; set aside. In mixing bowl combine butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat. Mix in sour cream. Add soda, baking powder, flour and vanilla. Mix until blended. Put 1/2 batter into 13"x9" pan. Spread filling over batter. Spread in remaining batter over filling. Put topping over batter. Bake 60 to 70 minutes at 350 degrees.

Makes 15 servings.
