AMISH PEANUT BUTTER PIE 
3 baked pie shells
1/2 c. butter
8 c. milk
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. cornstarch
5 egg yolks
Salt
Vanilla

Melt butter. Add 7 cups milk and 1 cup sugar. Bring to a boil. Combine 1 cup milk, 1 cup sugar and cornstarch. Add egg yolks, salt, and vanilla. Add to hot milk mixture. Bring to a boil again stirring constantly until thickened. Cool.

CRUMBS:

2/3 c. peanut butter
1 1/3 c. powdered sugar

Combine and mix well until crumbly. Spread 1/2 cup crumbs in bottom of baked pie shells. Fill with vanilla cream. Top with whipped cream. Sprinkle crumbs on top.
