AMISH TURNIP 
1 c. cooked mashed turnip
1 c. bread crumbs
1 tbsp. sugar
Salt to taste
1 egg, beaten
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. butter

Mix all the ingredients with half of the bread crumbs. Place in greased casserole. Cover with the rest of the crumbs and bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Turnip haters like this dish.

This was a great way to use up some frozen leftover turnips from the freezer. The original dinner had carrots, celery, onion, some peppers, and other spices with the turnips, so it worked out great. Don't be afraid to add extra veggies to this recipe.

Not bad. It's like a turnip bread pudding souffle. Definitely a better way of serving turnips for people that don't want to eat them.
